- Production to begin in India next year
- Brand’s new sub-four-metre SUV
Renault India has revealed its new concept, the Bridger, globally today. This all-new concept will measure under four metres in length and will be produced locally in India for domestic as well as international markets. Production is set to begin in India next year.

The Bridger concept adopts a boxy, upright stance with strong off-road styling cues. The front fascia features a flat grille panel with illuminated Renault lettering, flanked by squared-off headlamps with layered LED DRLs. Chunky bumpers, prominent cladding, and skid plate elements further enhance its rugged appearance.

Along the sides, the SUV sports squared wheel arches, thick body cladding, and large alloy wheels wrapped in off-road-friendly tyres. A contrasting black roof, hood, and roof rails add to the adventurous theme.
At the rear, the concept features vertically stacked tail-lamps and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, reinforcing its off-road intent. The upright tailgate and tall glass area contribute to the vehicle’s practical SUV proportions. Apart from this, the brand has stated that the Bridger will offer approximately 400 litres of boot space.

Furthermore, this new Bridger SUV will be offered with multiple powertrains, with the EV likely to be the first to roll out of the production line. In India, this new compact SUV will compete against the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and the Mahindra Thar in the niche lifestyle SUV space.
