- New standard SV joins the Range Rover Sport lineup in India
- Prices of HSE variants increased
JLR India has launched the new Range Rover Sport SV in the country at Rs. 2.05 crore, ex-showroom. Positioned as the most performance-focused version of the SUV, the Sport SV now becomes the entry point into the high-performance SV lineup.

With this launch, buyers now have three SV versions of the Range Rover Sport to choose from. These include the standard Sport SV priced at Rs. 2.05 crore, the Sport SV Black at Rs. 2.20 crore, and the range-topping Sport SV Carbon at Rs. 2.35 crore, all ex-showroom. Interestingly, this launch comes shortly after JLR revised and reduced the prices of the Range Rover SV and Range Rover Sport SV models in India following the India-UK FTA revisions.

All three versions are powered by the same 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 mild-hybrid petrol engine producing 626bhp and 750Nm. The motor is paired with an automatic gearbox and all-wheel-drive system. JLR claims a 0 to 100kmph sprint time of 3.8 seconds for the Sport SV. The SUV also gets the brand’s advanced 6D Dynamics suspension technology, designed to reduce pitch and body roll during aggressive driving.
The new Sport SV gets a curated bespoke paint palette with five exclusive shades offered in gloss, matte, and satin finishes. These include Green Satin, Orange Matte, Blue Gloss, Violet Matte, and Teal Gloss. Other highlights include 22-inch forged alloy wheels, a black contrast roof, SV-specific styling elements, and illuminated branding.

Inside, the SUV features Light Cloud and Ebony Windsor leather upholstery, Body and Soul Seats, a Meridian Signature sound system, a full extended leather package, and a sliding panoramic sunroof.
Bookings for the new Sport SV are already underway, while deliveries are scheduled to commence in August 2026.
Alongside the launch of the new SV variant, JLR India has also revised prices of the standard Range Rover Sport HSE petrol and diesel variants. Both versions have received a price hike of Rs. 2.23 lakh.
