Porsche has brought in a new entry-level, RWD offering in the Taycan range. Priced at Rs. 1.67 crore, it costs Rs. 24 lakh less than the now mid-spec Taycan 4S, which has an ask of Rs. 1.91 crore. It also comes in the top-spec Turbo variant, priced at Rs. 2.54 crore (all price, ex-showroom).

Powering the Porsche Taycan RWD variant is an 82.3kWh battery pack paired with a single electric motor, rated to produce 402bhp and 410Nm. The model can sprint from standstill to 100kmph in 4.8 seconds, all the way up to a top speed of 230kmph.

According to Porsche, the Taycan can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in 18 minutes via a DC fast charger, and is claimed to return a range of up to 590km on a single charge. Additionally, it gets an 11kW AC charger that allows it to be juiced up from zero to 100 per cent in nine hours.
