Nissan India introduced the new Tekton mid-size SUV earlier this month, with prices starting at Rs. 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The deliveries of this Hyundai Creta rival have now commenced, with one video showcasing an Onyx Black version delivered to a family in Gujarat.
The new Nissan Tekton is available with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired only with a six-speed manual transmission. Also up for offer is a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol motor mated with six-speed manual and DCT units. The model is claimed to return a mileage of up to 19.4kmpl, based on the powertrain choice. In terms of features, the 2026 Tekton SUV comes equipped with LED headlamps and taillights, LED light bar at the front and rear, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, three-tone interior theme, ventilated front seats, Arkamys music system, wireless charger, automatic climate control, 10.1-inch touchscreen system, 10.25-inch driver’s display, paddle shifters, and a powered tailgate. Also up for offer is a five-star BNCAP safety rating.
The Nissan Tekton is available in five variants – Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+. Further, customers can choose from six colours, including Pearl White, Flare Garnet Red, Indigo Blue, Blade Silver, Moonbow Gray, and Onyx Black. All the aforementioned paints, apart from the black colour, are available in a dual-tone theme as well.
