- Creta-rival also in the works
- Will arrive by the end of 2025
Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan has made a range of announcements for various markets it currently operates in. Of these, the brand has confirmed the arrival of two new products over the course of the next two years. Nissan will bring in its first new product in the form of a fresh three-row MPV. Scheduled for launch by the end of 2025, it will be based on the Renault Triber MPV, albeit with a different top hat.

This new MPV from Nissan will be based on the CMF-A platform. A single teaser image shared by the company reveals a familiar fascia as seen on the Triber, although there are distinct features like a new grille, chunky inserts on either side of the new bumper, revised set of headlamps, and dual-tone roof rails.

This new Nissan three-row MPV will be followed by the second product, a C-SUV (compact SUV) that will lock horns with the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, and the Skoda Kushaq. Slated to arrive in 2026, it will result in Nissan India’s portfolio widening to a total of four products, up from its current range of two cars including the Magnite and the X-Trail.
