• No turbo
• Wireless connectivity and multiple safety features
The Renault Triber's Nissan iteration, the Gravite, is set to launch this evening. Prior to the same, we have its key details, including the powertrain.
The Gravite will be available in four variants, of which the automatic transmission will be called EZ-Shift. Mechanically, this Nissan B-MPV will mirror its Renault sibling. This means that its underpinnings will comprise a 1.0L, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated unit paired with 5MT/5AMT systems, tuned to churn out 71bhp/96Nm.
Mechanicals haven't been the MPV's strongest suit, but there are plenty of practical features to compensate for the same. Highlights include a new grille with hexagonal slats, new dual-tone alloys, front seats with dedicated armrests, eight-inch infotainment with wireless connectivity, seven-inch instrument cluster, TPMS, cruise control, wireless charging, and six standard airbags.
An accessory bundle will also be available for cosmetic enhancement, and a CNG iteration will also follow suit, of which the latter should be available as an official retrofitment. The B-MPV will expand Nissan's product portfolio to three – the Gravite, Magnite, and the X-Trail.
