A wrapped test mule of the next-gen Renault Duster has been spied again, ahead of its debut in early 2026. Despite camouflage, you can see the outline of the Duster, and more importantly, an added design element when compared to the global-spec Renault Duster, indicative of India-spec additions.
It is expected to be offered with petrol power, with a hybrid powertrain set to follow suit, likely after the launch of the seven-seat version. This will be the second-gen Duster for the Indian car market, and will be one of the key drivers for Renault's plans to capture a market share higher than 1 per cent in India within the next few years. This car will be followed by a three-row SUV later in 2026, both of which are expected to form the basis of Renault's big plans in India.
This new-gen Duster will be Renault's answer to cars like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, Maruti Victoris, Maruti Grand Vitara, and the Toyota Hyryder. It is expected to be priced in the Rs. 12-20 lakh range.
