- Expected to debut next month
- Likely to come to India in 2027
Hyundai has released a new teaser for the next-gen i20, and this time around it has revealed that the hatchback will get a massive 12.3-inch panel integrating the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment system. It will get features like Hyundai Bluelink, wireless phone mirroring and be the display for the reverse camera. The automaker has also confirmed that the climate control system will operate on touch-sensitive controls.

These are all upgrades we have seen on the new-gen Hyundai Venue as well as the new Hyundai Verna. This hints that the Brazilian market, much like the Indian one, is expected to get the same upgrades that we saw in the SUV and sedan. A previous teaser also revealed that the car will get a completely new face with a new design for the headlamps and LED DRLs. The Brazilian market will get the car with flex fuel options, while markets like India are expected to continue with the 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.0-litre turbo petrol for the N-Line variants.

The i20 range has been due for an update for a while now, and this new-gen looks to be a big step in that direction. This car is expected to come to India by early 2027 and will reinvigorate Hyundai’s challenge to vehicles like the Maruti Baleno and Toyota Glanza.
