• Price announcement on 25 November
• To be available in ICE and EV versions
Tata Motors prepared to bring back one of its most iconic nameplates, and the all new Sierra will make its India debut tomorrow. The production ready SUV had been previewed through teasers and test mule sightings, and the final model was expected to stay close to the concept shown at the last Auto Expo.
Tata Sierra will arrive in both EV and ICE versions. The EV received most of the early spotlight with its smooth closed fascia, full width LED lighting, and minimalist surfaces. The ICE version carried a bolder front end with a larger grille treatment and more rugged detailing. Both versions retained the classic glasshouse profile inspired by the original Sierra, but with modern proportions and a more upright stance.
Inside, the SUV is set to offer a triple screen layout, premium materials, a spacious cabin, and a flexible seating arrangement. Expected features include a panoramic sunroof, connected car functions, ventilated front seats, and advanced driver assistance technology.
Powertrain details will be confirmed at the reveal, although the ICE version is expected to use Tata’s new generation turbo petrol engine. The EV is likely to adopt the latest Gen 3 architecture with a long range battery pack.
Prices and variant details will be announced at a later date, and the Sierra is expected to sit below the Harrier in Tata’s line up.
