- Likely to be available in a single, fully loaded variant
- Deliveries to commence in November
Skoda Auto India has finally confirmed the launch timeline for the new Octavia RS. It is set to take place on 17 October. Ahead of the price announcement, the company is set to begin pre-bookings of the sporty sedan on 6 October. It is expected to be offered in a single, fully loaded variant at launch.

As per official details, Skoda will import only 100 units of the fourth-gen Octavia RS, all of which can be booked exclusively via the company’s official website. Deliveries of this model, showcased at the 2025 Auto Expo, will start on 6 November.

Set to arrive via the CBU route, the 2025 Skoda Octavia RS will be powered by a 2.0-litre, TSI petrol engine, paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission. It is tuned to develop 261bhp and 370Nm (FWD). The India-spec model will be based on the UK version, although it will be built in Czech Republic. Notably, this means that the car will miss out on Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC).
