Renault India has finally revealed the India-spec new-gen Duster ahead of its launch anticipated to take place in the near future. The model brings along a new design, massive interior overhaul, and a set of new powertrains. Pre-bookings are now open for Rs. 21,000, and these reservations will get benefits in the form of priority delivery, special introductory prices, and complimentary ‘Gang of Duster’ merchandise. Select customers who-pre-book the car, also stand the chance to see the new Duster being built.
Exterior highlights of the 2026 Duster include rectangular LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, Duster lettering on the grille, faux skid plates at the front and rear, air vents on either side of the front bumper, black plastic cladding all around, C-shaped LED taillights with an LED light bar running in between, integrated rear spoiler, rear wiper and washer, black insert for the tailgate, and a shark-fin antenna. Also up for offer is a blacked-out finish for the ORVMs, B and C-pillars, roof rails, and alloy wheels. There are six colours on offer - Jade Mountain Green, Pearl White, Moonlight Silver, Stealth Black, River Blue, and Sunset Red. Also up for offer will be dual-tone derivatives.
The interior of the new Renault Duster comes equipped with a new three-spoke steering wheel with Piano Black inserts, dual screen setup on the dashboard, ambient lighting, type-C charging ports, EPB with auto-hold, panoramic sunroof, and a faux carbon fibre finish on the dashboard and doors. Elsewhere, it boasts dual-tone upholstery, dual-zone climate control, powered front seats, adjustable front armrest, powered tailgate, 60:40 split rear seats, Arkamys music system, 360-degree camera, six airbags, and Level 2 ADAS.
Under the hood, the next-gen Duster is offered with a 1.8-litre, four-cylinder, direct injection petrol engine (called E-Tech 160) paired with two electric motors, and the power output of this version stands at 160bhp and 172Nm. Next up is a 1.3-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol, direct-injection motor (called Turbo TCe 160) producing 160bhp and 280Nm, sending power to the wheels via six-speed manual and DCT units. Another option is the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine (called TCe 100), which produces 100bhp and 160Nm, paired only with a six-speed manual gearbox. The prices of the new Duster are set to be announced in March 2026.
