Mini India has officially opened pre-launch bookings for the upcoming new Cooper Convertible, ahead of its December 2025 market launch.
The highlight of the new model is its fully electric fabric roof, which can be operated in 18 seconds, allowing drivers to transition to open-air motoring. Further, it will come equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, circular LED headlamps, and revised elements for the vertical LED tail lamps. Highlighting cabin features of the upcoming convertible include a 9.4-inch OLED infotainment system, heads-up display, powered front seats, and ambient lighting.
Along with the signature go-kart-like driving dynamics, the Mini Convertible will also bring updated digital tech, advanced connectivity features, and a range of interior customisation options. Customers interested in owning the new Mini Convertible can pre-book the car through any authorised dealership in India or the official website www.mini.in.
Based on the hard-top version, the Convertible will also be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, tuned to churn out 201bhp and 300Nm of torque. This setup is paired with a seven-speed DCT system.
Mini currently has 10 dealerships in India. These are located in Delhi, Gurugram, Pune, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Kolkata.
