- The Victoris sold 13,496 units in October
- Grand Vitara sales stand at 10,409 units
Maruti Suzuki’s newest mid-size SUV, the Victoris, has outperformed its sibling, the Grand Vitara, in October 2025 sales. According to the company’s monthly report, the Victoris recorded 13,496 unit sales, surpassing the Grand Vitara, which managed 10,409 units during the same period.

Interestingly, both SUVs share the same powertrain options, platform, and overall dimensions. However, the Victoris is retailed through Maruti’s Arena outlets, while the Grand Vitara is sold via the premium Nexa channel. This clear separation in dealership strategy appears to have worked in Maruti’s favour, allowing the brand to target a wider customer base.
Despite the strong performance, the Hyundai Creta continued to dominate the segment, with 18,381 units sold last month. Meanwhile, the Victoris managed to outsell both the Kia Seltos and the Toyota Hyryder, which registered 7,130 and 11,555 units, respectively.
Prices for the Maruti Suzuki Victoris start from around Rs. 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Grand Vitara is priced from Rs. 10.77 lakh (ex-showroom). Both SUVs come with multiple powertrain options, including petrol, CNG, and petrol smart hybrid.
With these numbers, the Victoris has not only strengthened Maruti’s presence in the mid-size SUV space, but also highlighted how its mass-market positioning through the Arena network continues to drive volumes.
