- Set to debut by the end of the year
- Could arrive with a hybrid version
We recently confirmed Kia’s plans to introduce the new-gen Seltos for the Indian market by the end of the current calendar year. Now, fresh spy shots give us more details of the upcoming mid-size SUV.

The 2026 Kia Seltos test mule is partially wrapped, covering select details of the car. Visible elements include new front fenders, blacked-out A-pillars, ORVMs with a new design, flushed roof rails, new LED DRLs inside the all-new headlamp cluster, new LED tail lights, and a shark-fin antenna. Also visible are a fresh set of black alloy wheels, hinting at a mid-spec variant.
The Kia New Seltos will also receive changes in the form of fresh front and rear bumpers, new skid plates, redesigned tailgate, and new diamond-cut alloy wheels. Previous spy shots of the interior have confirmed updates like new seats for the front row, dual-tone upholstery, charging port on the side of the front passenger seat, brushed aluminum door handles, and contrasting orange inserts.

Under the hood, the next-generation Kia Seltos is expected to carry over 1.5-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre diesel, and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines, with the addition of a hybrid derivative to the lineup. Once launched, it will compete against the Maruti Victoris, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Tata Curvv, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, and the Honda Elevate.
