- First model after Jaguar rebrand
- Bookings for the electric Range Rover to open this year
Bookings for the Electric Range Rover and the official reveal of the new Jaguar GT EV will take place in 2026. The automaker confirmed this during parent company Tata Motors' announcement of third-quarter results. They also said that a new model underpinned by their new EMA platform will make its debut this year.

The Electric Range Rover will be the first electric SUV from the British automaker and has been in the testing phase for almost two years now. It is expected to offer up to 600km of range and will have AWD as standard across the range. We expect a Launch Edition in both four-seat and five-seat guise.

Whilst the Range Rover electric story has been 'conventional' to say the least, it is a whole different story for Jaguar. The Coventry-based automaker is shedding its complete current lineup in favour of a complete EV lineup, and leading it will be the new GT. It has been revealed in prototype guise and we can see that it is an evolution of the erstwhile XJ sedan. Latest reports indicate 1,000bhp and AWD on multiple variants. The final vehicle will be a completely new model based on the automaker's EMA platform. This will be a Land Rover/Range Rover product and will thus be an SUV, electric, of course. India is expected to be one of the high-priority markets for the Range Rover EV, whilst we could see the Jaguar GT here in late 2027 as part of the automaker's global expansion plans.
