Mini India has announced the price of the Cooper S GP Inspired Edition, starting at Rs. 58.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The bookings of the model, which is limited to 30 units across the country, were opened at the start of the month.

Sitting above the JCW Pack variant, the new Mini Cooper S GP Inspired Edition boasts a range of upgrades, including a new design for the bumpers, grille, side skirts, and roof spoiler, 17-inch black alloy wheels, and ‘1 of 30’ badge on the C-pillar. Also up for offer are GP-inspired elements like the rear diffuser, bonnet stripes, illuminated door sills, and front and side winglets. This new offering is available in an exclusive Legend Grey paint with Chilli Red mirror caps and roof.
Inside, the special edition offering, based on the Mini Cooper S, receives a JCW-spec steering wheel and sport seats with red accents for the headrests. Elsewhere, it gets Level 1 ADAS, HUD, panoramic sunroof, powered driver seat, 9.4-inch circular touchscreen infotainment unit, and wireless charging.

At the heart of the Mini Cooper S GP Inspired Edition is the familiar 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine belting out 201bhp and 300Nm. Transmission duties are handled by a seven-speed DCT unit, enabling the car to sprint to 100kmph from a standstill in 6.6 seconds.
