JSW MG Motor India is having a great run with the Windsor EV in the country. While the standard version made waves during launch for its aggressive pricing and a unique battery rental program, buyers were eager to have a long-range version.
Now, the automaker has launched the Pro version of the Windsor EV with a bigger 52.9kWh battery pack, getting a claimed driving range of 449km on a single charge. The new version of the EV is priced at Rs. 17.50 lakh (with battery), or Rs. 12.50 lakh and Rs. 4.5 for a kilometre with the BaaS program.
The Windsor Pro's price was announced yesterday, and the all-new EV has already garnered over 8,000 bookings in just 24 hours. This further adds to the strong success the Windsor range has witnessed since its India launch last year.
The new MG Windsor EV Pro is available in a single, top-spec Essence Pro variant. With the bigger battery, the Pro version of the Windsor also gets a new beige seat upholstery, redesigned alloy wheels, Level 2 ADAS suite, and V2L function.
