The MG Majestor will be offered only with diesel power once it is launched in April 2026. The engine in question is a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel producing 213bhp and 478Nm mated to an eight-speed AT. .
It will be offered in both 2WD and 4WD guise across two variants—Sharp and Savvy—with the latter getting 4WD. The 4WD package includes low-range mode, 10 off-road modes, and front, rear, and centre locking differentials. MG has also included its proprietary M-Crawl system that uses a combination of low-speed transfer case and the differential locks for controlled movement over difficult terrains.

Revealed today, the MG Majestor has been due for more than a year now and is MG's new flagship ICE vehicle. Pre-bookings have opened from today, with a launch in April and deliveries from May onwards. It will rival the likes of the Volkswagen Tayron, Skoda Kodiaq, Toyota Fortuner, and the MG Gloster.
