The higher trims are expected to be offered with features such as a panoramic sunroof, LED headlamps, auto-dimming rearview mirrors and more.  As for the interior, the new model will get premium upholstery and newly-designed steering wheel, along with premium features such as 12.3-inch digital instrument console and a 10.25-inch high-resolution screen for the COMAND infotainment system.

The upcoming Mercedes-Benz Class facelift is expected to be powered by a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that replaces the older 2.0-litre engine. The new engine continues to generate similar power output figure as the older one except for a mild drop in torque figures. The diesel version gets a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine in two states of tune. Both the diesel engines will be BS-VI compliant. Moreover, the new engines in the C-Class facelift will come mated to a 9G-Tronic automatic transmission which replaces the older 7G-Tronic unit.
