- 20 per cent decline in the entry-level luxury segment
Mercedes-Benz India retailed 19,007 units in CY25, recording its best-ever year in terms of revenue. The carmaker also saw a sharp increase in demand for its top-end vehicles, which include AMGs and BEVs. Here are the carmaker’s top CY25 highlights.
The Mercedes flagship segment, comprising the S-class, Mercedes-Maybach, and AMG, witnessed an 11 per cent YoY growth and 25 per cent market penetration. Performance-spec AMGs also saw a 34 per cent YoY growth. However, BEVs, in particular, are a highlight. Although this segment grew by 12 per cent (YoY), it comprises 20 per cent of the carmaker’s India portfolio.

Price Segmentation
Mercedes-Benz India states that 70 per cent of its vehicles sell in the Rs. 1.25-3.1 crore segment, out of which the bestselling EVs include the EQS SUV, EQS Sedan, Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV, and the Mercedes-Benz G580. The EQS SUV is a highly sought-after luxury BEV.
However, the entry luxury segment declined by 20 per cent (YoY), reducing the carmaker’s share to 13 per cent of overall sales volumes.
