Mercedes-Benz inaugurates a new dealership in Jamshedpur

Mercedes-Benz has inaugurated a new dealership in Jamshedpur. Called Tristar Motors, the new showroom is located at Adityapur-Kandra Main Road and is the city’s first ‘luxury car dealership’.

Spread over an area of 40,000sq.ft., Tristar Motors has a nine-car display and is the German manufacturer’s first dealership of 2015. Apart from the showroom, the dealership also has a world class service facility with 12 service bays manned by a team of 25 trained service personnel. Tristar Motors is the company’s 69th dealership, with the company planning to inaugurate 14 more of these, this year, as a part of its ’15 in 15’ strategy.

Speaking during the inauguration of the dealership, Mr Eberhard Kern, MD and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, “2014 was a very successful year and with our comprehensive growth strategy, we are confident of achieving a similar success this year as well. Tristar Motors Jamshedpur which is the city’s first luxury car dealership is a reiteration of our commitment to the customers in this important emerging market. Mercedes-Benz has been increasingly focusing on tier II and III cities with the belief that these markets will drive the luxury car industry’s growth in the near future. The financial status of such cities is growing rapidly and as such, there has been a rise in the number of well-to-do customers with an affinity for luxury cars. In such cases, the company’s customer oriented approach ensures that the customers have a higher preference for Mercedes-Benz cars.
