- Recall due to a potential fire hazard
- 30 units affected
Mercedes-Benz India has officially recalled multiple models due to a common issue. The recall spans across models including the SL55 AMG Roadster, S-Class, Maybach S-Class, EQS, and the GLC, accounting for a total of 30 units.

According to official details, the fuse boxes might not have been reworked correctly. As a result, systems connected to the fuse might fail, with the vehicle possibly losing propulsion without prior warning, and the restraint functions or the instrument cluster might also be impaired, increasing the risk of a crash and injuries. Under such specific circumstances, the potential risk of a thermal incident in the vehicle cannot be excluded.

This recall includes nine units of the S-Class or Maybach S-Class manufactured between 22 June, 2023 and 20 March, 2024 and two units of the SL55 AMG Roadster manufactured from 5 July to 28 August, 2023. It also includes three units of the GLC produced from 9 September to 4 December, 2023, and 16 units of the EQS manufactured between 19 July, 2023 and 8 April, 2024.
