- Featuring design revisions
- Improved tech expected
Mercedes-Benz is gearing up for a mid-cycle refresh for the C-Class, and latest spy shots confirm that the changes will be more than just skin deep. Set for a global debut around April 2026, the facelifted C-Class is poised to receive subtle exterior revisions along with tech upgrades and improved cabin materials.
Visually, the most noticeable updates are expected at the front and the rear. While earlier test mules only showed a front camouflage, the recent prototypes have now been spotted with covered rear sections, suggesting changes to the tail lights and the bumper. Interestingly, the tail light graphics will pay homage to the brand’s identity, incorporating elements inspired by Mercedes-Benz’s iconic three-pointed star. A similar star-shaped motif will also feature revised daytime running lights . The front grille and bumper are also likely to be reworked. Meanwhile, the headlights will see updated internal graphics that align visually with the redesigned rear light units.

Inside, while the overall design remains familiar, Mercedes plans to elevate the cabin experience with more premium materials and an upgraded version of the MBUX infotainment system. The updated sedan will also benefit from improved safety and convenience features, some of which will trickle down from larger models in the brand’s portfolio.
On the mechanical front, no significant changes are expected. However, Mercedes is likely to fine-tune the powertrains to improve fuel efficiency and lower emissions. This will mainly be achieved through optimising the nine-speed automatic transmission system’s gear ratios.
The facelifted Mercedes-Benz C-Class is expected to be officially revealed next year, with sales set to commence by mid-2026. It will go up against the likes of the all-new Audi A5 and the next-generation BMW 3 Series, which is also in the works.
