- Five-star rated for BNCAP
- Available with petrol, hybrid, and CNG
Hot on the heels of its five-star BNCAP crash test rating, the Maruti Victoris has scored a five-star rating in the latest round of GNCAP crash tests. It scored 33.72/34 in the adult occupant category and 41/49 in the child occupant test. This is the second model from the automaker to score a similar result, with the Dzire achieving the same in November 2024.

In the frontal offset deformable barrier test on a RHD model, it achieved good protection for the front passenger whilst the driver got adequate protection for chest and right leg. In the side movable deformable barrier test, it was good for the head and lower body, whilst the chest got adequate protection. Finally, in the side impact pole test, it scored well on all parameters. All versions of the Victoris get six airbags, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child seat mounting points.

The Victoris is Maruti's new hero vehicle for its Arena chain and is expected to be launched in India this month. It has already earned accolades in India thanks to the BNCAP rating, whilst this GNCAP rating will do well for Suzuki's export plans for the SUV.
