- Update results in a price hike of up to 0.8 per cent
Maruti Suzuki has announced that the XL6 MPV, will now come equipped with six airbags as standard across all variants. The update is effective from 23 July, 2025.

This safety enhancement is part of Maruti Suzuki’s ongoing effort to align its product lineup with evolving safety expectations. Previously, six airbags were available only on select higher variants of the XL6. With this revision, the feature will now be offered as standard across the entire range.
As a result of this update, the XL6 will see a marginal price increase of up to 0.8 per cent on the ex-showroom price. The exact price adjustment may vary depending on the variant.

The XL6 is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology, producing 102bhp and 137Nm of torque. It is available with either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox. The model is also offered with a factory-fitted CNG option.
It is retailed through Maruti’s premium Nexa outlets and is offered as a more upmarket alternative to the Ertiga. It features a six-seat layout with captain seats in the second row, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, rear AC vents, cruise control, and connected car features.
