Maruti Suzuki India has announced the complete pricing of the e Vitara electric SUV. The model is available across three variants, and it can be purchased either under the Battery as a Service program (BaaS) or with the battery cost included in the upfront price. All prices are introductory and valid until 31 March. The eSUV also comes with a complimentary home charger and installation.

Under the BaaS model, the e Vitara starts at Rs. 10.99 lakh, ex-showroom, for the Delta variant equipped with the 49kWh battery pack. The battery rental is fixed at Rs. 3.99 per kilometre. The Zeta and Alpha variants, both powered by the larger 61 kWh battery pack, are priced at Rs. 11.99 lakh and Rs. 14.29 lakh respectively, with battery rental capped at Rs. 4.39 per kilometre.
Customers opting to purchase the SUV without the BaaS program can choose from the following prices, inclusive of the battery pack:
Delta 49 kWh – Rs. 15.99 lakh
Zeta 61 kWh – Rs. 17.49 lakh
Alpha 61 kWh – Rs. 19.79 lakh
The dual tone colour option is exclusively available with the top-spec Alpha trim, at an additional cost of Rs. 21,000. In terms of performance, the 49kWh variant produces 142bhp, and has a claimed range of 440km. The larger 61kWh battery pack delivers 172bhp, with a claimed range of 543km.

Feature highlights include a fixed glass sunroof, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charger, 360-degree camera, powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, and Level 2 ADAS.
With its entry into the electric SUV space, the e Vitara will rival models such as the Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra XUV 3XO EV, Mahindra BE 6, Vinfast VF 6, and MG Windsor EV.
