- Will get new connected taillights
- Also includes a fresh set of alloy wheels
Maruti Suzuki continues to test the new seven-seater SUV based on the Grand Vitara ahead of its launch, expected to take place later this year. This fresh offering is set to rival the Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV 700, Tata Safari, the Kia Carens, and more.

As seen in the spy shots, the single unit of the Grand Vitara seven-seater was fully camouflaged, as was the new e-Vitara accompanying it. The test mule featured a fresh set of LED taillights and a connected light bar on the tailgate, much similar to the EV6. The side profile also reveals a set of new alloy wheels. The highlighting changes are the noticeably longer rear overhang, rear fenders, and C-pillars.

We expect the 2025 Grand Vitara seven-seater SUV to come equipped with a fresh set of headlamps, new grille, reworked front and rear bumpers, shark-fin antenna, and roof rails. Inside, the model is expected to feature an all-new dashboard with a new freestanding touchscreen infotainment system.

Powering the seven-seat derivative of the Maruti Grand Vitara is likely to be a 1.5-litre engine in petrol and petrol-hybrid versions. Further, an option of six or seven-seat layouts could be offered during launch.
