Maruti Suzuki has finally introduced its first electric offering, the e Vitara, in India today. Priced from Rs. 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom introductory) with BaaS (Battery as a Service), this Hyundai Creta Electric rival will be sold exclusively via Nexa dealerships.

The new e Vitara is available with two battery pack options – 48.8kWh and 61.1kWh. Both units are paired with a single electric motor each, powering the front wheels, with a claimed range of up to 440km and 543km respectively on a single charge. We have driven the e Vitara, and you can read our review on the website.

In terms of variants, the 2026 Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is available in three variants, namely Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. Customers can choose from a range of 10 colours, including Opulent Red, Bluish Black, Arctic White, Grandeur Grey, Splendid Silver, Nexa Blue, and dual-tone shades that include Land Breeze Green, Splendid Silver, Opulent Red, and Arctic White, all with a Bluish Black roof.

Key feature highlights of the Maruti e Vitara include LED DRLs, projector headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, 10-way power-adjustable driver seat, wireless mobile charger, drive modes, Suzuki Connect, automatic climate control, dual 10-inch screens, and seven airbags. At this price, it goes up against the MG Windsor EV, which is priced from Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) under the BaaS scheme.
