Mahindra announced the prices of the new XEV 9S late last month, starting at Rs. 19.95 lakh (ex-showroom). We have now got our hands on the images of the model’s entry-level variant, called Pack One Above.

As seen in the images here, the new XEV 9S base variant features inverted L-shaped LED DRLs, dual-pod LED projector headlamps, LED light bar above the blanked-off grille, blacked-out skid plates, 18-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, illuminated logos at the front and rear ends, new LED tail lights, flush-fitting door handles, new front and rear bumpers, integrated spoiler with a high-mounted stop lamp, and a shark-fin antenna.

Inside, the three-row electric SUV from Mahindra comes equipped with a three-screen setup on the dashboard, twin-spoke multifunction steering wheel, EPB with auto-hold, black and white interior theme, cruise control, boost mode, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and OTA updates. Further, it features a six-way manually adjustable driver seat, automatic climate control, three 65W Type-C charging ports, tilt-and-telescopic adjustable steering, six airbags, ESP, rear parking sensors, reverse camera, rear wiper and washer, and a rear defogger.

Powering the XEV 9S base Pack One Above variant are 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs paired with a single electric motor, delivering a claimed range of up to 679km on a single charge. Mahindra offers the XEV 9S in a total of four variants, namely Pack One Above, Pack Two Above, Pack Three, and Pack Three Above.
