- New Citrine Yellow colour introduced
- Offered with petrol and diesel engines
Mahindra has expanded the Thar Roxx lineup with the launch of the new Star EDN, an aesthetically enhanced version of the SUV. With an introductory price of Rs. 16.85 lakh, ex-showroom, the Star EDN is positioned as a more exclusive and premium iteration of the Roxx, focusing on design-led upgrades.

On the outside, the Thar Roxx Star stands out with a piano black front grille and matching piano black alloy wheels. Mahindra has also introduced a new Citrine Yellow paint shade as the hero colour, while buyers can also choose from Tango Red, Everest White, and Stealth Black.

The cabin receives notable upgrades in the form of all-black leatherette upholstery with suede accents. Feature highlights include ventilated front seats, sliding armrest, 60:40 split rear seats with recline function, fully automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, and a surround-view camera. Tech additions include a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster, AdrenoX connected car technology with Alexa integration, and a nine-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
Mechanically, the SUV continues with the same engine options as the standard Roxx. The 2.0-litre TGDi petrol engine, producing 176bhp and 380Nm, is offered exclusively with an automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the 2.2-litre diesel engine, generating 172bhp and up to 400Nm of torque, is available with both manual and automatic gearboxes. All Star EDN variants are offered with a rear-wheel drive configuration.
