Mahindra has revised the prices of the Thar in India, with the lifestyle SUV witnessing a uniform hike of Rs. 20,000 across most variants. The revision is effective immediately.
That said, the base AX 2WD variant remains unaffected by the price increase and continues to be priced at Rs. 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom. All other versions, including the LX trims offered with manual and automatic gearboxes in both 2WD and 4WD configurations, are now dearer by Rs. 20,000.
With the latest revision in place, the prices of the Mahindra Thar now go up to Rs. 17.19 lakh, ex-showroom, for the top-spec variant. The Thar continues to be offered with petrol and diesel engine options, paired with manual and automatic transmissions, and remains one of the most popular lifestyle off-roaders in the country.
