- Will be launched in 2026
- To be offered with a diesel engine
The Mahindra Scorpio N-based pickup truck has been spied testing in India. The pictures reveal what we had expected; the face of the Scorpio N, but with the body of a pickup truck. This was showcased as the Global Pik-up concept in 2023 and will arrive in its production guise next year.

At the global showcase, Mahindra claimed that the car was still a concept, but several elements that they showcased will make it into the production model, chief of which will be the interiors. Incidentally, these interiors also showcase the upgrades that will arrive for the Scorpio N facelift. Mahindra had announced it with a 2.2-litre diesel engine and an automatic transmission, but we also expect a petrol engine option when the car is launched.

For the first time, the Scorpio-based pickup truck will branch off as a separate model, rather than an off-shoot of the Scorpio (N) family. It will get a separate narrative, expected to be called by a different name, and will launch first in Australia and South Africa before arriving in India.
