This is a testimony to the good performance of both passenger as well as commercial vehicles. We are particularly buoyed by the growth of our truck business, which has outperformed the industry. With three of our critical new automotive launches lined up in FY19, we are confident of increasing our market share in the utility vehicle space”.

The three new vehicles rolling out this year from Mahindra’s stable will be the XUV500 facelift, the all-new U321 MPV and the rebadged G4 Ssangyong Rexton. The refreshed XUV500 will be revealed in the coming months. Meanwhile, the U321 MPV has been testing for a year now. Mahindra showcased the Rexton at the 2018 Auto Expo, but we expect the renamed flagship SUV to be launched in the country during the festive season later this year.
