Mahindra BE 6 to Get a New Special Edition: Teased Ahead of Launch

• BE 6 Sporteq Edition prices to be announced on 15 August
• Will feature a three-screen setup on the dashboard

Mahindra has teased a new special edition of its electric SUV, the BE 6. Dubbed the Sporteq Edition, this iteration of the BE 6 will be launched in India on 15 August. The teaser video reveals key exterior and interior elements of the car.

The new BE 6 Sporteq Edition will get the biggest update in the form of a third screen on the dashboard, which is a dedicated screen for the front passenger, similar to the XEV 9e and XEV 9s. Additionally, the seats and upholstery receive a new brown theme. Also up for offer is a new matte grey colour.

We expect the feature list of the standard Mahindra BE 6, which includes an ADAS suite, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, reclining rear seats, dual-zone climate control, electrically adjustable driver seat, 65W Type-C charging ports, DC fast charging, and more.

The 2026 Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Edition is likely to be offered with the same 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs with a claimed range of up to 683km on a single charge. All the details will be revealed later this week upon launch. Stay tuned.
