- User can opt out of mandatory charger installation in certain cases
- Available with 7.2kW and 11.2kW AC chargers
Mahindra announced the entire price list of the XEV 9e and the BE 6 earlier this year. The carmaker currently sells these models with two charger options, either of which are billed at an additional cost over the ex-showroom prices. Now, citing consumer feedback, Mahindra has made changes to its charger policy regarding the purchase of the 7.2kW AC charger and 11.2kW AC charger, both of which are retailed at Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 75,000 respectively.

According to Mahindra, customers now have the option to opt out of the mandatory charger installation under three specific cases:
- If the residence or the office of the customer lacks the provision for a private charger.
- If the customer already has a charger that meets Mahindra’s safety standards.
- For customers purchasing two or more Mahindra eSUVs, a single charger may suffice.

The Mahindra BE 6 and the XEV 9e are offered with two battery pack options: 59kWh and 79kWh. Priced from Rs. 18.90 lakh and Rs. 21.90 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom), deliveries of both these models are set to begin in the coming weeks. We have detailed the variant-wise prices and features of these cars, which you can read on our website.
