- Updated Scorpio range to be the first line of products
- No BEV launches
Facelift in the Works
Mahindra has announced that it will launch two additional ICE products this calendar year. It began 2026 with the launch of the XUV 7XO (700 facelift), and will bring in two more products, one of which will be the updated Scorpio range. This will include updates for both the N and the Classic.
What to Expect
The updated Scorpio N is expected to debut the triple-screen layout and a panoramic sunroof as part of the package. It will also get an updated exterior design and alloy wheels. There will be no mechanical changes to the car, and it will continue with its 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel motors, both available with automatic and manual transmission options. The Scorpio Classic is expected to be less of a facelift and more of a feature update, and it will arrive after the launch of the updated Scorpio N facelift.

Second Product
Alongside the Scorpio N, a second product was also announced by the automaker, and this is likely to be a major facelift for the three-door Thar, which only received a feature update last year. This time around, we expect the interior and exterior design to be updated. This is likely to be the last update for this generation of the Thar, before a Vision T derivative is brought in 2027.
No BEV Updates in CY26
Alongside the ICE announcement, Mahindra also said that it will not launch any new BEVs for CY26, and hinted at a much bigger push from 2027. It revealed the XEV 9S in November 2025 and the XUV 3XO in January 2026 as part of its EV plan for this calendar year.
