Thrilling performance

The electric motor is powered by a 44.5kWh battery pack that produces 148bhp and 353Nm of torque. The ZS EV offers a driving range in excess of 340kms on a single charge and the battery pack comes with IP67 protection which makes it water resistant and offers protection from dust as well. The electric SUV is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in just about 8.5 seconds.

The battery pack can be charged to 80 per cent in 40 minutes with a 50 kW DC fast charger. With a standard 7.4kW charger, it takes about seven hours for the car to be fully charged. The MG ZS EV has tuned to deliver the best of performance within the city as well as on the highways.

Easy to maintain

Performance oriented cars with a regular combustion engine are expensive to maintain, primarily due to more moving parts that are prone to wear and tear. On the other hand, the electric vehicle have fewer moving parts, thereby making it less susceptible to damages. The electric version also does not require oil changes at regular intervals or gaskets for replacement, and most of the updates will be available over the air. This makes the MG ZS EV a value for money proposition that delivers impressive performance without being too heavy on the pocket.
