The Lexus ES range has been expanded with the launch of the ES350h strong hybrid model. It is available across two variants, Exquisite and Luxury, and they are priced at Rs. 66.10 lakh and Rs. 71.80 lakh respectively. Bookings open from today and they will be sold alongside the 500e BEV that was launched earlier this year.
Exterior highlights
The new ES introduces the Clean Tech x Elegance design concept to create new value. It is dimensionally larger than its predecessor. A longer wheelbase, increased width, and a taller profile contribute to a more commanding road presence. The exterior features distinctive Lexus design cues, including signature L-shaped lighting elements and a refined rear design. Integrated technologies such as electronic door latch releases with Safe Exit Assist further enhance convenience and safety. It is available in White Nova, Sonic Titanium, Sonic Chrome, Graphite Black, along with the newly available SOU and Sonic Copper.
Interior highlights and new connected car technology
The interior of this new ES350h features the automaker’s Tazuna cockpit concept that places key controls and information within easy reach and view of the driver. A 14.0-inch high-definition touchscreen features the latest Lexus Interface, while a fully digital instrument cluster presents vehicle information for enhanced convenience and ease of use.
It has been equipped with a comprehensive suite of connected features that can monitor fuel levels and driving range, while remotely managing essential functions such as engine start, door locks, window closure, and even the slide roof. Beyond these core functions, owners can schedule and remotely activate cabin climate settings—including air-conditioning, seat heating, and ventilation.
Powertrain and safety
A newly developed hybrid system has been adopted, which combines a highly efficient 2.5-litre inline 4-cylinder engine, a new eAxle with the PCU (Power Control Unit) integrated into the transaxle, and a lithium-ion battery. The ES 350h is equipped with the latest Lexus Safety System+. This comprehensive suite of active safety technologies includes an enhanced Pre-Collision System (PCS), All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) and Drive Monitor (only Luxury variant)
RSA and warranty
Lexus India offers a bouquet of value-added services and enhanced roadside assistance to ensure a seamless ownership journey. This includes a 5-year Roadside Assistance (RSA) package that covers services such as towing, taxi service, and repatriation. In addition, the ES350h offers an enhanced ownership experience through an 8-year/200,000 km vehicle and hybrid battery warranty. The Lexus Luxury Care service packages, which come with Comfort, Relax, and Premiere options, are available from 3 years/40,000 km to 8 years/160,000 km.
