- Could debut in late 2026 or early 2027
- Will get subtle exterior tweaks
The Defender is a popular offering, not just in India, but across the globe. The new-gen model made its debut back in 2020, and since then, it has received minor updates at regular intervals. Now, the model is set to receive its first significant update in the form of a facelift.

Spied testing on public roads, the spy shots reveal a single unit of the facelifted Land Rover Defender, spotted around the vicinity of the Nurburgring race track. There is subtle camouflage at the front and rear, hinting at where the changes will lie.

Up front, we expect the new Defender facelift to receive a revised grille and an updated bumper. The rear profile is also likely to get a redesigned bumper, while the integrated spoiler will get a tweaked design too. The changes to the side profile could be limited to a fresh set of alloy wheels.

The biggest change to the Defender range, particularly in this 110 body style, will arrive in the form of a captain seat setup for the second row. Elsewhere, the interior could boast an updated infotainment system and reworked upholstery.

Details regarding the changes to the refreshed Land Rover Defender’s engine and specifications remain unknown at the moment. More details are expected to surface ahead of its debut, which could take place in late 2026 or early next year.
