• Positioned above the HTK trim
• Available with petrol and diesel powertrains
Kia India has expanded the Syros lineup, with the introduction of a new HTK (EX) variant. Priced at Rs. 9.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the new trim sits above the existing HTK variant, and is aimed at buyers seeking a stronger balance between features and affordability.
The HTK (EX) variant is available with both petrol and diesel engine options, offering flexibility across powertrains. There are no mechanical changes as part of this update, with Kia rather focusing on enhancing comfort and convenience.

In terms of design and equipment, the Syros HTK (EX) gains several additions over the standard HTK trim. These include LED DRLs, LED headlamps and tail lamps, along with 16-inch alloy wheels.
The variant also benefits from an electric sunroof, flush-fitting door handles, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, and a rear parking camera with sensors. On the safety front, the Syros HTK (EX) is equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, and Vehicle Stability Management.
Powering the Syros is a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 118bhp and 172Nm of torque, while the 1.5-litre diesel generates 114bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. Both engines are offered with manual and automatic gearbox options.
Meanwhile, Kia has also introduced the HTE (EX) trim for the Carens Clavis, priced at Rs. 12.55 lakh (ex-showroom), adding more features and multiple powertrain choices to its MPV lineup.
