Let us now take a closer look at the technical specifications of the new Syros EV. Under the hood, the model, which is Kia’s fourth electric offering in India after the EV6, EV9, and the Carens Clavis EV, will be available with 51.4kWh and 42kWh battery packs. These battery packs, paired with a single electric motor, will offer a claimed range of 526km and 443km on a single charge, respectively.
Coming to charging speeds, with the help of an 11kW AC fast charger, the standard and extended range versions of the Kia Syros EV can be juiced up from 10 to 100 per cent in four hours and 50 minutes, and four hours, respectively. A 100kW DC fast charger will reduce these timelines to 39 minutes for both versions.

Both versions of the Kia Syros EV are tuned to produce 255Nm of torque. That said, the power output for the 51.4kWh and 42kWh versions stand at 169bhp and 133bhp, respectively. The higher output variant will run on 17-inch wheels, while the 42kWh unit will feature 16-inch units.
The colour palette of the 2026 Syros EV will include Ivory Silver Matte, Frost Blue, Gravity Grey, Pewter Olive, Magma Red, Ivory Silver Gloss, Aurora Black Pearl, Glacier White Pearl, and Xclusive Matte Graphite. Customers will be able to choose from seven variants, namely HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTK+ ER, HTX, HTX+ ER, and X-Line ER.
