Kia's going on a strategy to expand its offerings at the entry end of things by adding more automatic options in the sub-Rs. 10 lakh segment. As part of its MY26 updates for the Sonet, it has brought in an HTK (O) variant but now with turbo petrol power and an automatic gearbox, in this case the automaker's clutchless manual.
Priced at Rs. 9.10 lakh (ex-showroom), it is now Kia's cheapest two-pedal option. But it has a surprise rival in the form of the C3 X Shine petrol turbo AT which is priced at Rs. 9.32 lakh. It's got most of the same features but offers an equally powerful engine with a proper six-speed AT and interior dimensions with similar measurements.
