Kia India has announced that the Sonet has crossed the 5 lakh unit sales milestone in the Indian market. The achievement underlines the brand’s growing acceptance and customer confidence in one of the country’s most competitive segments, with the subcompact SUV continuing to play a pivotal role in Kia’s domestic growth story.

The Sonet currently contributes close to 35 per cent of Kia India’s domestic volumes, highlighting its importance in the brand’s portfolio. Beyond the Indian market, the SUV has also found success overseas, with more than 1 lakh units exported to nearly 70 markets, including regions such as the Middle East and Africa, Central and South America, Mexico, and APAC, reinforcing global confidence in India-made Kia products.
