- Will bring along two new EVs this year
- Syros-based EV to arrive in early 2026
Kia is working on a robust EV portfolio for the Indian market. The carmaker has lined up three new launches that will be introduced over the next one year. Of these, the first offering, the EV6 facelift, has already been showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, with a launch expected in the coming months.

Following the 2025 Kia EV6 will be the Carens EV, with a debut and price reveal scheduled to take place in H2 CY25. It is expected to borrow a large chunk of the feature set from the Creta Electric, some of which could be a Level 2 ADAS suite, V2L charging, fully digital colour driver display, battery heater, digital key, Virtual Engine Sound System (VESS), and a drunk.

Next up will be the electrified version of the recently launched Syros B-SUV, and this model could arrive early next year. The Syros EV will mark Kia’s presence in the budget segment of electric vehicles, while the EV9 three-row SUV does the same in the top-end segment.

It remains interesting to see what Kia has in store for the Syros EV in terms of design as the ICE derivative that will go on sale soon already has a few EV-inspired cues such as the blanked-off grille and machined dual-tone alloy wheels.
