JSW MG Motor India has unveiled the Majestor today, and we continue to wait for its prices. The model, which will sit above the Gloster in the brand’s SUV range, was previously showcased in the country at the Auto Expo last year. Pre-bookings of the model are now open for Rs. 41,000, while prices will be revealed in April, followed by deliveries, which are scheduled to begin in May.
On the outside, the new MG Majestor boasts a new face with a fresh grille that gets integrated LED DRLs on either side, vertically stacked, squared LED headlamps, chunky skid plates at the front and rear ends, new 19-inch alloy wheels, blacked-out window lines, connected LED tail lights, dual exhaust tips, and an integrated spoiler with a high-mounted stop lamp. Customers can choose from four colours - Metal Black, Pearl White, Metal Ash, and Concrete Grey.
Inside, the 2026 Majestor features a Smoked Ebony interior theme, panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, 12.3-inch touchscreen unit, fully digital instrument cluster, three-zone climate control, front seats with ventilation and massage functions, 360-degree camera, and 12-speaker JBL music system, 64 colour ambient lighting, 12-way powered driver seat, powered tailgate with gesture control, six airbags, two wireless chargers, digital key, and 10 off-road modes. It will be available in six-seat and seven-seat layouts.
Propelling the Majestor is a 2.0-litre, twin-turbo diesel engine that belts out 213bhp and 478Nm. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, it also gets a 4x4 system as standard. Once launched, it will compete with the Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tayron, and the Toyota Fortuner Legender. There will be three variants on offer, namely Sharp 4x2, Savvy 4x2, and Savvy 4x4.
