MG’s first launch for the new calendar year is set to be the new Majestor SUV. The fresh three-row offering, which will be positioned above the Gloster, is set to rival the Toyota Fortuner Legender, Volkswagen Tayron, and the Skoda Kodiaq.
Pre-bookings
MG Motor India has commenced bookings of the Majestor as of 12 February. Interested customers can reserve their Majestor for Rs. 41,000 via the official website. The company has revealed further key details, such as the colours and variants, details of which are now live on our website.
Previews
MG will start previewing the Majestor in the month of March. While finer details are scarce at the moment, we expect the SUV to be showcased to potential customers who pre-booked it. For the uninitiated, the model will be powered by the familiar 2.0-litre, twin-turbo diesel engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Price Reveal
Finally, MG has confirmed that it will announce the prices of the Majestor in April. The date has not been announced yet, and it remains to be seen if the company reveals all prices or just the price tag of the entry-level offering. Additionally, deliveries of the model are scheduled to begin in May.
