- 2.0L TSI petrol motor
- Layered over the existing Kodiaq
The Skoda Kushaq facelift was not the only Skoda car to be unveiled in its event today. The carmaker charted out a complete product plan for the entire calendar year. One major highlight, though, was the ‘enhancement’ of the RS lineup. Initially, one would expect the all-powerful Octavia RS to get some feature updates. However, Skoda caught us off-guard by showcasing the India-bound Kodiaq RS, which will make its way in the second quarter of 2026.
The Kodiaq RS is a strengthened version of the already powerful Kodiaq three-row SUV. While the existing Kodiaq pumps out 201bhp/320Nm, the Kodiaq RS takes these figures a notch higher, with the RS’ 2.0L TSI petrol motor paired with a 7DSG system, and it is tuned to churn out 261bhp/400Nm, which is a 61bhp/80Nm jump over its stock iteration. 0-100kmph comes in at 6.3s.

The Kodiaq RS gets the hallmark RS package, which encompasses red accents, gloss-black radiator grille surrounds, wing-mirror covers, upper window trims, roof rails, and D-pillars. The RS’ interior is blacked out, and it gets high-contrast red stitches. Vanities include electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, integrated head restraints, multifunction, steering, and sporty pedal covers. Safety features include turn assist, crossroad assist, and intelligent park assist with memory for up to five parking spots. The India-spec Kodiaq RS will mostly be an assembled CKD unit.
