A facelift for the current-generation Hyundai Santa Fe has been spied on test. Expected to be launched in 2027, the SUV will come to India as part of Hyundai's 30-model launch plan that the carmaker announced last year. As is the case with most Hyundai mid-life updates, it will get a new front and rear end, as well as redesigned alloy wheels.
Our spy photographer has indicated that the new design will do away with the boxy look of the current car, going for a more rounded appearance in line with Hyundai's Art of Steel design language. Interior updates with new features are also expected, but the overall elements and placements are not expected to change at all. The Santa Fe will debut hybrid tech for the South Korean carmaker, and this is expected to be their 1.6-litre hybrid engine that will be offered with FWD and AWD.

The segment that Hyundai will enter into with the Santa Fe, is a rapidly developing one, with competitors from Honda, Volkswagen, Skoda, and MG, all looking to get a piece of the pie from the segment leader, the Toyota Fortuner.
