The next-gen Audi Q3 has made its global debut, and as with every generation of this compact SUV, a sleeker Sportback version is to follow. Mechanically, this new version will be the same as the standard Q3, meaning it will get the same engine options. However, it’s the rear quarter design that will be entirely different for the Sportback version.
To the front, the 2026 Q3’s new features and personality will be carried forward here: the sharp, split-style lights adopting the same style as those of the new Q5, and the huge, single-frame grille with the large-drop inner mesh – a personality trait of Audi's new SUVs. The unmistakable shape of the silhouette will be carried over, although with a more balanced look than that of the Q3 Sportback currently on sale, which has a more sloping roofline.
The new Q3 Sportback will feature the same interior as the standard model, with its large and slightly curved digital display occupying the dashboard, as well as a wide range of optional equipment. The German brand will offer advanced driving assist functions, as well as comfort and connectivity systems.
The new Q3 Sportback will be launched next year, with a range of engines that will feature only four-cylinder units, with both petrol and diesel and PHEVs delivering up to 100km of range on a single charge (EV-only).
