Hyundai Xcent has been quite popular and successful in the commercial segment. This time around, the car manufacturer has introduced the factory-fitted CNG option in the Xcent Prime. The Xcent Prime CNG is available in two trims – T and T+, priced at ₹ 5,93,231 and ₹ 6,12,911 respectively. Interestingly, the new Xcent Prime is the first one among commercial segment sedans to get an optional CNG factory-fitment.
The Hyundai Xcent Prime continues to be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that generates 82bhp of power and 114Nm of torque. The engine comes mates to a five-speed manual transmission. The CNG trim continues to get all the standard equipment as offered with the regular version, including the SLF – Speed Limiting Function, which restricts the max speed to 100kmph. Hyundai claims that the factory fitted CNG is offered with easy registration and financing process besides offering registration tax benefit in select areas. The company further boasts of offering a best-in-class warranty of 3 years/ 1,00,000 kms.
